Our Vision
To nurture a compassionate, inclusive space where trainee counsellors on placement, and newly qualified counsellors in the South West, can grow in confidence, deepen their practice, and rise together - supported by community, care, and shared wisdom.
The Team
We are are both counsellors, we know the journey - the intensity of training, the vulnerability of placement, and the quiet shift that happens when college ends. Suddenly, the peer support network that once held you begins to fade. The group chats slow down. The shared supervision ends. And the sense of being “in it together” can give way to isolation, uncertainty, and self-doubt.
Counselling Collective was born from that gap. From the lived experience of counsellors who’ve felt the quiet sense of disconnection and feeling alone - and the deep need for continued community. We believe that early practice shouldn’t feel like a cliff edge. It should feel like a bridge - held by others, lit with shared wisdom, and strengthened by collective care.
That’s why we’ve created a sanctuary: a place where counsellors on placement and newly in practice can connect, grow, and rise - together.
We aim to cultivate a thriving collective of counsellors on placement and newly in practice - providing a community rooted in connection, peer support, and shared growth. We envision a network where counsellors rise together, building confident, compassionate practices through collaboration, care, and mutual encouragement.
